Este mueble está lleno de estupidez!!‏

Buenas días familia!

This week was INCREDIBLE!!! Seriously, I love being a missionary so much. There are no words to describe it! I am just more and more grateful every day for the opportunity that I have to do this.

First off, on Monday, one of my favorite mission moments happened! So, we went to try and see L, but we couldn´t find her, and it was late and we were in a kind of dangerous part, so we went to wait for a colectivo on El Boldo, which is the most inclined hill of our sector (and that´s saying something!!) So we went and were waiting, and Sergio, the less active that we´re working with him and his family, passes, and his colectivo just breaks down right in front of us! So we go to try and help out and we talked to him and tried to stop other colectivos so that he could get help from someone who knew what they were doing, but nothing was working. So, we asked him if we could say a prayer with him. I said the prayer and honestly, it was one of the first times I really felt like I was praying with my whole soul in front of other people! The spirit was so strong. We ended the prayer, and I just knew his car was going to start. He tried to start it, and... nothing. He tried again, and... nothing. He had lost almost all hope, but we just knew it was going to start. He started to just go down the hill to leave the car in a place that was out of the way, and as he was going down, his car started!!! Hermana Sanford and I were literally jumping up and down we were so happy - haha. It was such a cool miracle!!! He recognized it too, he told his whole family about it and everything about the prayer miracle and his car is still working to this day! :) It was so awesome. Pray for that family, they need a lot of help!

I don´t really have too much time, but also, B accepted a baptismal date! :) She´s doing great, she is visiting her mom right now but she is for sure getting baptized in June. She is so awesome!! A less active we´re working with, Ana, that has been coming to church recently also decided that she wants to serve a mission :) It´s so cool!!! Her friend kept inviting her until she came to church, and it brought to pass a change in her heart, and she now wants to share that with everyone around her. We´re helping her get ready to go!

We found a less active who has an incomplete family, and she is totally ready to come back to church and we´re teaching her kids too! Seriously, there are so many people prepared here in Chorrillos.

I am so grateful for my companion as well!! She is so great, and really just what I needed. Huge answer to prayers!
I am so glad to know that God knows me and each one of us and that he is going to make sure that we achieve our purpose: have joy. We saw lots of other miracles as well, members from other wards driving us home when we´re far away, awesome contacts, etc. It´s just such a huge blessing to be in the mission and see so clearly God´s hand in our lives!

A lot of funny things happened this week too, the people here are just so great. I´ll have to tell you more another time, because seriously the time is just flying away! I swear that there is less time every week haha. The days are passing by faster and faster, but I am still learning more and more. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost and all that I learn and for where it leads me. I love the mission! It honestly is the best decision of my life. I am so grateful for the examples I had growing up and all the little seeds and care that I received from those around me to help me to reach this point, and for the night after a YW activity that I decided in my heart that I was going to serve.
I love you all so much, and I hope you have a great week!!! :)

Love, Hermana Hansen

Hola familia!! TANTO tiempo!! So good to see all of your faces :) Happy mothers day/birthday best mom ever!! :)

Haha but as you know, I am now with Hermana Sanford from Layton, Utah! It was so weird to go to the cambio meeting, it´s the first time I´ve gone in all 2015! My third gringa, I´m going half and half as for now! But she is so awesome and such an answer to prayers, I am just so excited! It´s going to be an amazing cambio :) I am really excited to see what happens!!

So you guys basically know what already happened this week... But I´ll just go over everything super quick. Loreto has a baptismal date for the 24th of may (pray that we can finish her teaching before!!) and Barbara is set to live the law of chastity!! YEAH! So things are looking great there :) Hermana Evans was super sad to leave, but she was ready at the same time. I know that she´s gonna love Achupallas as well!

Basically, we´ve been CRAZY busy this week but we have seen a million miracles. Still the most fun thing was the random phone call from president to be at the stake center because he wanted sisters at this huge fancy stake president activity that they brought nonmembers to! Seriously, we had churipan (yummy bread with sausage and pevre... too good) shish ka bobs, steak, salad, manjar and raspberry cake, and ice cream. And then got to watch "meet the Mormons" and have popcorn and juice. AND talked to this really cool girl who the assistants are going to go teach!! It was awesome, but still not sure how much I liked getting home at 12:30 in the morning when we had to get up the same the next day haha.

There´s a really cool video that President Kahnlein showed to us in consejo. I loved it SO much! Seriously everyone was crying. It´s about the man that was born blind and that is healed by Jesus. It´s so true, Christ helps us come out of our blind state and see who we really are. I love the video SO much. I just hope never to be like the Pharisees and say that I can see when I´m actually blind! https://www.lds.org/bible-videos/videos/jesus-heals-a-man-born-blind?lang=eng

Love you guys so much, and I am so grateful for all of you!! I love this work and I love the gospel, and I can´t wait to work as hard as I can in probably my last 6 weeks in Chorrillos!!! Hope you all have a great week!

Quiero bautizarme

cute companions with Hermania
Buenas tardes familia!!!

FIRST OFF, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!! :) It is so crazy that your last birthday was already A YEAR ago!!! But I hope you have a great day, I am thinking of you!! :)

This week went really well, we were able to work A LOT and even though we didn´t find as many people as we wanted to, we saw a TON of miracles!!

First off, we taught B the other day. We found her crying in the street. She had fought with her boyfriend and her ability to live in the house she´s living in was in jeopardy.... so she was really sad. We went and sat in the outdoor tables of this random little local and taught her more about the atonement. She felt way better, and then said ´hermanas, there's something I actually wanted to tell you. I decided, I want to get baptized.´ AHHHH. It was SO awesome!!!! She is so amazing. Honestly I love her so much! I've never seen a 15 almost 16 year old that has her head on so straight. We have seen her change SO MUCH since we started teaching her!! And it all started when she started reading the Book of Mormon. It is so incredible how the gospel can change people... she is so very special. I am so excited for her!!
Also, L came to church!! We hadn´t been able to get a hold of her on Saturday, so we thought she had traveled down to Rancagua, but then she and her less active son Diego showed up halfway through sacrament meeting and stayed the whole time!! She said that she had never felt so comfortable and happy at a church before, and that she is planning on making coming to church a habit. :) We are going to set a baptismal date for her tonight!!
ALSO we went to a less active family´s house (the dad used to be a counselor in the stake presidency... yikes) and we were teaching them and the dad said the closing prayer and prayed that the lord could help them return to church!! SO awesome!!! And Gabriela got a calling as YW secretary, she´s super excited about it, best convert EVER. And a less active girl that we´re reactivating got called as the YW activities coordinator!! Things are going so great, it´s awesome. Only bummer is, we are doing a TON of contacts every day, but Chile is literally just full of less active members.... if we do 20 contacts, generally like 15 of them are secretly less actives. But we know that we are  going to find the people that are waiting for us :)

On another note, we had consejo on Friday. It was amazing. honestly, I love my mission president and his wife so much. They have changed my LIFE and keep doing it!! I know that half of the reason I had to come to this mission was to meet them. They are the most humble people I know, because all that they want to do is the will of the lord. And I know that that is what they do. and I love how much I learn from the other missionaries!! It´s just a huge spiritual feast,  and I love every second of it.

Another thing, there are CAMBIOS on Wednesday!!! And we have this feeling that we are both getting changed..... yikes. There are big changes happening in the mission!! I hope I stay though, I really love Chorrillos :)  But I know that wherever I need to go the lord needs me! It reminds me of Hermana Page... it really doesn´t matter where I´m working, I just want to be working for the lord and enjoy every second that I have to declare the gospel and bring joy into the lives of those around me. It´s amazing, and the best experience I could ever ask for!

Anyways, I hope you guys have had a great week as well!! I love you all so so much. I´ll see you guys on SUNDAY! so crazy. I feel like we Skyped last week!! Have a good day!!!

love
